Day 8
Today I went back to my musical roots, to play second bassoon (or, yes, as it says on my music "Fagotto II") in the Fife Youth Orchestra Reunion concert for the legend that is Mr Graeme Wilson. Playing alongside an orchestra of people who had mostly gone on to study music at University, when I hadn't actually played in a few months, simply highlighted how rubbish I was, but fortunately I didn't have any solos. It was a good evening, seeing some old faces and showing our appreciation for the man who made it all a reality, and who is possibly one of the biggest inspirations in my life.
