Day 2

Given my total "let's get lots of stuff done" state of mind yesterday evening, today proved to be a complete anti-climax. Apart from a brief walk in the evening, I didn't leave the house, instead choosing to sit in my room, playing on various musical instruments, and no doubt driving my family close to tears with my angelic voice (I wish). The order of the day was to repeatedly play through my brand spanking new Mumford & Sons songbook, on guitar and (slightly less successfully) piano.

I've played guitar for, oh, 7 years now, and still I have only played it to an audience once (I was drunk and my flatmates are persuasive). However, a sort-of secret resolution for 2011 is to get over myself, and play at an open mic night. I guess these past few weeks I've been putting some practise in.
